Art Experience is the collaborative art directive of Art by the Yard, LLC, founded by professional artists Richard and Michele Fritz.
We are not simply offering a painting activity. We invite people into a guided creative process where their participation becomes part of a real finished artwork.
Richard and Michele are Kansas City Art Institute-trained artists with decades of experience in public art, murals, collaborative painting, youth programs, community projects, gallery shows and art installation, grant writing, and custom commissions.
Through Art Experience, we bring that professional studio practice directly into events, gatherings, classrooms, conferences, and celebrations.
Our role is to create the artistic framework, guide the participants, and make sure the final artwork succeeds.
Participants do not need art experience. They simply need to be willing to take part. We handle the design, instruction, refinement, assembly, and finishing so the experience feels accessible while the final artwork feels strong.
