Portrait of Macks Creek
Portrait of Macks Creek is a free family community art project that invites parents, grandparents, and children to celebrate the stories that make Macks Creek special.
Join us for a Light Lunch Listening Session on Monday, July 14, from 12:00–1:00 PM at the Macks Creek Library, where families will share memories, hopes, and ideas that will inspire a collaborative painting designed by professional artists Richard and Michele Fritz of Art Experience and painted by the community.
Families are then invited to help paint the artwork during two community painting sessions:
Celebrating our stories and imagining the future together.
As the project progresses, we will post pictures and journal our experiences here.
